Full Machine = Full Wallet

Keeping your machine full keeps your wallet full!

Frazil has launched an internet-connected slush machine in the market, and now has thousands of these machines all across the US. This allows Frazil to monitor if these machines are ON, WORKING, and FULL, and gives our retailers a digital window into their stores.

As Frazil has collected data from these machines, we’ve seen a significant difference in sales performance across those stores that are keeping their machines full vs. those that consistently let their machines run low on product.

It’s intuitive that a full machine will sell more. It looks better. It’s more appealing to consumers. But just how much does a machine, consistently low on product, impact sales for a store? Let’s take a look at what we see from the data.

Full Machine Graph

Stores that kept their machines full 90%-100% of the time had the highest average sales performance across the group. We’ll use this as the baseline performance benchmark of 100%. Stores that kept their machine full 75%-90% of the time saw sales performance 5% lower than the “full machine” index. Stores that kept their machines full only 50%-75% of the time had 85% of the average sales of the “full machine” index. And stores that kept their machines full less than 50% of the time had only 81% of the sales of the “full machine” index stores.

Don’t miss out possibly 20% of your sales by not keeping your machine full.

Also, running a machine low on product will damage the machine, leading to machine down time, lost sales for the store, and a poor customer experience.

One of the simple improvements made by the Frazil program is that we provide one gallon mixing jugs for refilling machines and it’s one easy pouch per jug, so topping off the machine is much easier than it is with the much larger mixing jugs required by most other FUB programs.

Also, if you’re a chain, our Fraznet dashboard helps give you visibility into which of your locations aren’t keep the machine full, which could be an opportunity for incremental training and support.

So, don’t forget, keeping your machine full keeps your wallet full, your machine working and your customers happy.

Thanks!
